Illinois allows up to 5 hours of acupuncture continuing education to be taken online every two years. Illinois acupuncturists are required to take a total of 30 hours of continuing education every two years to maintain licensure. HealthCMi.com offers Illinois acupuncture continuing education credit for all courses that do not contain herbal medicine information. The State of Illinois forbids herbal medicine information to be contained within continuation education material. It is the only state that licenses acupuncturists and has the herbal medicine restriction.

All courses at HealthCMi are NCCAOM approved therefore any course may be taken for Diplomate recertification.
