Nebraska was the 40th state to in the US to legalize acupuncture. Passed in 2001, the Nebraska acupuncture law established minimum age and education requirements for a licensed acupuncturist in the State of Nebraska.

NCCAOM Provider #602: For NCCAOM Diplomates, all courses are approved for NCCAOM continuing education PDAs (1 PDA point = 1 CEU). Over 35 states use NCCAOM certification for acupuncture continuing education. All courses fulfill the Core Knowledge, Skill, Ability (KSA) requirement. California Provider Number 329.

For CA licensed acupuncturists, all HealthCMI completed courses are sent to the California Acupuncture Board to ensure recognition of your CEU credit. All courses at HealthCMI are designated and pre-approved for 'Category 1' by the State of California and are not restricted by “Category 2” limitations. The 'Category 1' designation for all HealthCMI online acupuncturist continuing education courses allows an acupuncturist to take up to 25 acupuncturist online continuing education credit hours (CEUs) every 2 years.

Canada, BC Acupuncture Online

All HealthCMI courses are CTCMA valid for Canada, BC continuing education credit by the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of British Columbia (CTCMA, BC). The CTCMA requires 50 hours of acupuncturist continuing education every two years. HealthCMi online courses fulfill the “Direct, Participatory, Formal Programs” requirements as outlined by the CTCMA. The CTCMA requires 24 hours of “Direct, Participatory, Formal Programs” every two years. Acupuncturists may take up to 12 hours of online continuing education every two years to meet the “Direct, Participatory, Formal Programs” requirement.
