About PID Webinars:
Pelvic inflammatory disease is the inflammation of the female pelvic organs and/or connective tissues, usually caused by an infection. This includes a variety of biomedically defined disorders including cervicitis, endometritis, salpingitis, oophoritis, and broad ligament infections. PID is characterized by lower abdominal pain and leukorrhea. According to Chinese medicine theory, PID is the invasion of damp-heat and toxins causing Qi and Blood stasis in the lower burner. This condition quickly declines and leads to chronic deficiencies.

The live webinars address these conditions and the herbal medicines and acupuncture point prescriptions needed to resolve PID. If untreated, chronic PID may lead to infertility and ectopic pregnancies. In the USA, over 100,000 women become infertile annually as a result of PID and 150 women die from PID. It may be completely asymptomatic, especially when caused by chlamydia infections. These webinars help licensed acupuncturists recognise early signs and symptoms. The live webinars also help licensed acupuncturists to distinguish appendicitis, ectopic pregnancy and endometriosis from PID.

Winter Live Webinars
