The following is a brief summary of some our most prolific authors. Professor Richard Liao, L.Ac. taught acupuncture and herbal medicine at Five Branches University, Santa Cruz and the Academy of Chinese Culture & Health Sciences in Oakland, California. Professor Jeffrey Pang, L.Ac. received his MD in western and Chinese medicine from Sun Yat Sen University of Medical Science in Guangzhou, China. The Pang family has practiced Chinese medicine for generations and his clinical practice spans over 30 years. Prof. Pang is the department chair for theory and herbology at Five Branches University where he is an active faculty member. Adam White, L.Ac. taught Chinese medicine theory at Five Branches University where he also served as the continuing education director. Dr. Greg A. Livingston, L.Ac. received his PhD in Chinese Internal Medicine and the Clinical Application of Shang Han Lun at Zhejiang University of Chinese Medicine, China. Dr. Livingston worked at the North American International Hospital, Hangzhou and taught Chinese medicine at the Zhejiang University Medical School. He is currently a Chinese medicine physician at the Shanghai East International Medical Center, Shanghai Pudong. Kevin Walker, L.Ac., R.Ph. is both a licensed acupuncturist and a registered pharmacist. He was a staff pharmacist at the Alta Bates Medical Center in Berkeley, California and worked with inpatient care at University Hospitals in Cleveland, Ohio. Colleen DeLaney, L.Ac. was an X-ray technician for 15 years in hospital settings and has had a private acupuncture practice for approximately 20 years in Chico, California. John Struthers, L.Ac. was the Academic Director of Five Branches University and taught western sciences and Chinese medicine theory. He has had a private acupuncture practice for over 20 years.
