To purchase a continuing education course:
Click on a medical profession menu name (Acupuncture, Dental, or Nursing Continuing Education Online) and follow the links. Acupuncture courses are now available online for instant continuing education credit: NCCAOM PDAs (most states), California CEUs, Florida CEs, Texas CAEs, and CTCMABC continuing education credit hours. All HealthCMI acupuncture courses online provide continuing education certificates and credit for every state that licenses acupuncturists. Nursing continuing education online is available for California nurses for license credit.

To download course material, take quizzes, or get certificates of completion:
All courses that have been paid for can be downloaded immediately by clicking on the appropriate link in the COURSES, TESTS, CERTIFICATES menu. The COURSES, TEST, CERTIFICATES yellow colored menu appears on the upper left-hand side of the screen after purchasing a course or after logging in. You can login with your username and password at any time for downloading courses, taking tests and evaluations, and getting certificates for continuing education credit. The left-hand menu, COURSES, TEST, CERTIFICATES; is your master control panel access to course materials.
To order a continuing education course by mail, email or fax:
Click on CONTACT US and request a course in the contact information. Please include contact information (address, phone number, fax number, medical license number...) as is relevant.
Acupuncture Provider Numbers for the Healthcare Medicine Institute (HealthCMI):
Our acupuncture provider numbers are: NCCAOM provider number 602 for PDA points (most states), California Acupuncture Board provider number 329 for CEU certification, Florida Acupuncture Board provider number 50-8697 for CE certification and license renewal. HealthCMI also features Texas CAE approved courses and CTCMA BC approved courses for Canada, BC. HealthCMI features California Board of Registered Nursing approved nursing continuing education courses online.
Save course materials:
Remember to SAVE the course material (the SAVE command is located in the FILE menu on your browser). If you have forgotten to SAVE and need to view your course again- simply LOGIN and download the material again from the COURSES, TESTS, CERTIFICATES menu (located on the left-hand side) which will appear once logged in.
Lost username or password:
Click on LOST PASSWORD? in the LOGIN form, type in your username and email address and your password will be sent to you via email. The LOGIN form is located on the left portion of the webpage in the vertical column. If you have lost your username, click on CONTACT US and let us know. We will email information to you. Note, when you purchase a course, your username and password are automatically sent to you via email as a helpful reminder.
I have dowloaded my course material but cannot open the file:
The file is in pdf format and you may need to download Adobe Acrobat Reader which is free software at www.adobe.com
I need a certificate of completion or I need to take or re-take a quiz:
Simply purchase a course or LOGIN and go to the COURSES, TESTS, CERTIFICATES menu on the left-hand side. The buttons will change from 1) Select Course to 2) Take Quiz to 3) Fill Evaluation to 4) Get Certificate.
Quizzes:
You make re-take quizzes until a passing grade is acheived. A certificate of completion is automatically generated and you may print it.

To pay by check:
To pay by check for continuing education courses, simply make the check payable to: Healthcare Medicine Institute. Mail the check to: HealthCMI, 4895 Capitola Road, Capitola, CA 95010
Specify the name of the course you are paying for and include an email and/or mailing address. Please include your name, return address, and medical license number(s). HealthCMI will then email or mail you a username and password for online access to the course material, quiz, and certificate of completion process. If you prefer the material to be sent by email, fax, or US mail, please specify and we will send it in that form.
NCCAOM, California, Florida, and Texas continuing education credit:
All courses in the Acupuncture division are approved by the NCCAOM for national Diplomate PDA points (most States), California CEUs, and Florida CEs and for acupuncturist continuing education credit hours. Many courses are also approved for Texas CAE credit and CTCMABC (Canada, BC) credit.
Acupuncture Online Schools:
An acupuncture certificate is awarded for distance learning online for every acupuncture course offered at HealthCMI.
