Massachusetts Acupuncture Continuing Education

Yes! Massachusetts acupuncturists receive continuing education credit for all acupuncture continuing education courses at HealthCMI. All courses at HealthCMI are NCCAOM approved. The Massachusetts Board of Registration in Medicine accepts all NCCAOM approved acupuncture continuing education courses.
The new 10 hour herbal requirement is filled with courses at HealthCMI. All present courses are herbal medicine related. The Massachusetts Committee on Acupuncture will accept all HealthCMI courses toward the 10 hour herbal requirement. For example, for a 15 hour NCCAOM approved course at HealthCMI, simply apply 10 of those hours toward your herbal medicine requirement. This is a simply process because all current HealthCMI courses are herbal medicine courses. This also applies to the 15 hour acupuncture requirement. All HealthCMI courses involve detailed Chinese Medicine differential diagnosis sections which are directly related to the practice of acupuncture. Therefore, the hours may be applied to either the acupuncture or hebal requirements, or both.
