has served as professor of herbology and acupuncture theory at the Academy of Chinese Culture & Health Sciences in Oakland, California. Prof. Liao has also served as faculty at Five Branches University in Santa Cruz, California. Nice review of herb-drug interactions along with examples of how to avoid unwanted side effects of interactions, or enhance treatment through choosing herbs that enhance medication effects.
