The course is very good at emphasizing the importance of how easily medical issues can arise if the practiti an awareness of systemic structures lying beneath his/her needles. B) Anatomic anomalies, the bodies structural differences between patients, and medical histories that can be important to take into account during treatment. I had an MD teach us that a pneumothorax was impossible with small acupuncture needles. It is nice to have the truth and to know how to avoid them. I plan to send references from this course to him.
