Researchers from the University of Nevada and Montana State University conclude that acupuncture is “effective for reducing some FSD (female sexual dysfunction) problems….” FSD is an umbrella term for hypoactive sexual desire, sexual arousal disorder, orgasm disorder and sexual pain disorder affecting women. A series of four acupuncture treatments were administered and a follow-up investigation was completed three weeks after the last acupuncture treatment.

Acupuncture CEUs Online. The researchers documented significant improvements in symptoms related to FSD. Sexual desire increased. Sexual dysfunction decreased. Urogenital disorder symptoms improved significantly and overall anxiety levels decreased.
