One incredible acupuncture point covered is Xi Xia (Hsi Hsia). This extra point has beneficial effects for patients with many types of knee disorders, including tearing and dysfunction of the tendons and ligaments. Importantly, a classic three acupuncture point prescription that helps heal the ACL (anterior cruciate ligament) is presented. This same prescription is useful for the treatment of meniscus damage as well. The classic points are presented along with modern research showing how the results are achieved.
